NY Salesperson Drill

Every answer traces to the source it comes from.

How far the checking goes. Questions are written against the NYS Department of State 77-hour Real Estate Salesperson Syllabus (2022). Every question carrying a statutory citation has had that quote matched character-for-character against RPL Article 12-A or 19 NYCRR Part 175 by a program. A fabricated section or a paraphrase is rejected outright. That check proves the citation is genuine. It does not prove the law is stated correctly. A separate independent review pass checks the substance, and each question is labelled with which of the two it has had. Questions marked citation-gated only have not been substantively reviewed. Exam format. DOS publishes that the exam is multiple choice, based on the 77-hour curriculum, with 1½ hours allowed. The 75-question count and 70% pass mark used here are widely reported by licensed schools but are not published by DOS, so treat them as an estimate, not an official figure.
